Extension Spindle – Fixed Length – VA08

The VANTEC VA08 Fixed Length Extension Spindle is designed to provide convenient operation of direct buried gate valves where the valve operating point is located below ground level. The extension spindle transfers the operating movement from ground level directly to the valve stem, allowing easy opening and closing without the need for direct access to the buried valve. It is suitable for Type A direct buried gate valves and designed for buried depths ranging from 800 to 1500 mm. The unit incorporates durable PVC protection tubes with high corrosion resistance, while the sleeve and bottom cover help protect the valve spindle against sand, dirt, and external contamination, supporting reliable operation and extended service life. The top key adaptor is compatible with most standard T-keys, providing practical and straightforward valve operation from ground level. Optional accessories such as T-keys and surface boxes can also be supplied.
